ISO tanks are designed to transport and store liquids, both hazardous and non-hazardous. A tank container is one of the safest ways to transport fluids.

TANK CONTAINER SPECIFICATION
An ISO tank has a stainless-steel barrel and is surrounded by various types of protective layers. Different coatings can be used, depending on the type of liquids the tank will contain.
Tank containers must be filled to a minimum of 80% full and no more than 95% capacity to allow for thermal expansion while preventing harmful surging of liquids in transit. The top of the container features a manhole, at least one valve, and another valve on the bottom. The cylindrical tanks can store between 21,000 and 40,000 liters of liquid. The frame in which the tank rests is around 6 meters long, 2.4 meters wide, and 2.4-2.5 meters high.
